The thinkpad X30 keyboard bezels are made of ABS plastic, however they appear to have insufficient plastic to function. The brash bushes they have rammed into them seem to have split the tubes into which they are placed.
The part iself is labeled as 13N4972 which IBMs part service doesn't seem to ever have heard of.
The IBM FRU list gives the part # as 27L6746 replaced by 91P9779. A bit of googling gives another replacement part 13N5335.
